We left Brisbane in March 2010, and spent a couple of months in Indonesia. Then after a brief stay in Singapore we went up the east coast of Thailand.

Then we went back in Singapore, to do lots of engine room work - rebuilding the generators and servicing the main engines.

Once we had finished the engine work we sailed for the west coast of Thailand, where we based ourselvs on the island of Phuket.

Have a look at the Phuket Vegetarian Festival page under West Thailand. This is the strangest thing I have ever seen......

Otherwise go to the West Thailand page for a selection of places in this general area.

After a year and a half in SE Asia, we headed back to the Mediterranean. We were planning to sail back, but when some neighbours tried to do so, and were killed by pirates, the owner decided to ship the boat back.

We arrived in time for a busy charter season and then went back to our winter berth in Sanremo, Italy for the winter.
